  1. D-Link Systems, an Irvine California based company, has announced it's New
  2. 10BaseT Prices. To lead the LAN market in cost effective prices, D-Link
  3. continues to expand the market by establishing itself with the Best
  4. Price/Performance ratio of any LAN vendor. By producing a Complete 10BaseT
  5. Line, D-Link feels they can give all users of LAN products an opportunity
  6. to follow the new 10BaseT standard. All D-Link 10BaseT products can be
  7. used together or combined with other manufacturer's 10BaseT products,
  8. which allows users to implement Ethernet 10Mbps on twisted-pair.

  10. The 10BaseT adapters are both NE1000/NE2000 compatible respectively. This
  11. allows for full compatibility of the adapters into the Novell NetWare
  12. environment. In addition all adapters include D-Link's "Connectivity Disk"

  14. Novell or connectivity with NDIS, TCP/IP, Netbios, SCO Xenix/Unix, Sun
  15. PC-NFS, ODI and NEXOS. Adapters and transceiver utilize status lights for
  16. easy network monitoring and control. The AUI-to-lOBaseT transceiver allows
  17. for existing adapters with an AUI port to connect to the 10BaseT Ethernet
  18. twisted-pair standard. This extra flexibility enables existing Ethernet
  19. adapters to upgrade to the new 10BaseT standard.

  22. This concentrator supports up to 12 twisted-pair Ethernet adapters with a
  23. maximum distance of 100 meters(300 feet) from concentrator to adapter.
